Help Center Membership Management: The Dashboard The reorder pane
The reorder pane
Click the order-status chip on any row (except "No reorders" and "Review EMR match") and a pane opens right under that row. It lets you work the reorder without leaving the Dashboard. Click the chip again, or Close, to fold it away. It uses the same rules and permissions as the patient page, and the list reloads after every action.
What you see, top to bottom:
- Top line: the patient's name · membership type · next reorder MM/DD/YYYY · autopay MM/DD/YYYY (if known), then the link Open patient page →, and a Close button on the right.
- Messages: a red box if something failed, or a green box saying what just happened.
- "Reordering:" line: what will be ordered:
- the patient's saved medication lines, joined with " + ", or
- the membership type's default product followed by (type default), or
- not set.
It may add: · (pharmacy name) (if your clinic has more than one pharmacy), · from pharmacy history (the saved medication was copied from the pharmacy's records), · auto-reorder on (Auto-prepare is on for this patient).
- Change medication button (needs Set a patient's medication; not shown when the type has no reorders). It opens a form with Order from (which pharmacy), the medication lines, and Save medication. After saving: Medication saved, used for this and every future reorder. The button reads Close while the form is open.
- Pharmacy history (not shown when the type has no reorders):
- Button Verify last order at (pharmacy), or Re-check at (pharmacy) once checked (shows Checking… while it works). It asks the pharmacy for this patient's orders (matched by last name and date of birth). Nothing is sent.
- last checked MM/DD/YYYY h:mm AM, kept on the patient.
- A small table of the last three pharmacy orders: Ordered (date and order number), Medication, Sig (the directions), Status (the pharmacy's word), and a button Use as medication (newest order) or Use this order (older ones), which saves that order's lines as the patient's medication (needs Set a patient's medication).
- If nothing is found: No orders found at (pharmacy) for this patient (name + DOB must match what the pharmacy has).
- The reorder itself:
- If the type has no reorders: No medication reorders for this membership type.
- If a reorder is open: its status in bold (for example Upcoming Reorder), a red Overdue chip if late, then · due MM/DD/YYYY · opened MM/DD/YYYY h:mm AM and · placed … once placed. Under it:
- Not prepared yet: No prescription prepared for this reorder yet.
- Prepared: a gold Pending provider approval chip (plus auto if the portal prepared it), the drug names · pharmacy · by who · when, and either a green ready to process chip or a red needs attention (N) chip (hover to see the problems).
- Buttons: Order (nothing prepared yet) or Open order (prepared), needs Stage a prescription for the pharmacy (prepare, not send) or Send a staged prescription to the pharmacy. It opens the order form (Stage, Process order, and so on; see the Pharmacy and orders section of this Help Center).
- Cancel order (needs Cancel an order) asks Cancel this order? Reason (required):. Type a reason and click OK. Message: Order cancelled. Cancel with an empty reason does nothing.
- Once sent or placed, a line shows the pharmacy and its answer, for example "(pharmacy): accepted #12345 · (status)", with the pharmacy's message if any, · waiting for the pharmacy, refresh in a minute while it is still being sent, and a green Shipped chip with the carrier and tracking link once tracking is known.
- If no reorder is open: No open order, one opens automatically N days before MM/DD/YYYY. (N is your reorder notice.) If the membership is active and you can stage or send, an Order button lets you start one now.
Q: I clicked the chip and nothing opened.
A: Chips for "No reorders" and "Review EMR match" are not buttons. For other rows, look just below the row; the pane opens there.
Q: The pane says "Loading…" and then an error.
A: The patient could not be loaded (for example it was just archived or merged). Refresh the page.
