Prescripta is built HIPAA-first, with different workloads separated by design.

Where things live

• Patient health information lives in your practice's EHR environment and in the HIPAA-track booking and portal systems, kept apart from the marketing and account website.
• Your account and billing details live in the account platform. Card numbers are held by our payment processor, never by Prescripta.
• Support tickets live in an encrypted system you read by signing in; ticket content is never sent over email.

How they are protected

Encryption in transit and at rest, access controls with audited administrative actions, and a Business Associate Agreement with every practice as part of onboarding. Deleting is the exception everywhere: records are archived, not silently destroyed.
