Fax (add-on)
What it controls: the clinic's cloud-fax account, used to fax prescriptions straight from the order form (for controlled substances and pharmacies without electronic ordering) and for the Fax page.
Click path: Admin → Settings → Fax (add-on). Shown only when your clinic has the Fax add-on. The pill shows on (faxing through a fax service) or off (print and fax by hand).
Who:
- Set up by Prescripta: the fax service and the clinic's fax line and number. The blue box says: Set up by Prescripta. Your fax service and fax line are arranged with the fax company by Prescripta support. Contact support if your number changes. The page header, delivery-receipt e-mail and quality below are yours.
- The clinic's (owner and admin, Change settings): Header printed on every page, Delivery-receipt e-mail, Quality, and Test connection.
The intro: the portal prepares the prescription PDF, stamps the prescriber's signature on file (Settings → Pharmacies → Prescriber) and tracks delivery. Each pharmacy's fax number is on its own pharmacy card.
