Settings: overview and words used
Settings is where a clinic decides how Membership Management works for everyone in the clinic: which memberships get medication reorders and nurse follow-ups, how reorder dates are counted, which pharmacy prescriptions go to, who gets the daily summary e-mail, how long people stay signed in, and more.
To get there: click Admin in the top menu. The Admin page opens on Settings by default. (You can also go to the other Admin tabs from here: Users, Roles or Owner → Roles, Audit log, and for some clinics Owner → Features.)
A few words used on this page:
- EMR (electronic medical record): the system your clinic uses for patient charts and billing, for example Zenoti or OptiMantra. Membership Management reads memberships from it.
- Membership type: a group name your clinic chooses, like "Semaglutide", "Tirzepatide" or "Hormone". Every membership belongs to one type, and the type decides what happens to the patient (reorders, follow-ups, billing amounts).
- Reorder: the next fill of a patient's medication. The portal works out when it is due and reminds staff.
- Follow-up: a nurse check-in call, lab draw or visit that is due on a schedule.
- Prescription (Rx): the order for a medication that goes to the pharmacy.
- Autopay: the date the EMR charges the patient's card for the membership.
- Morning run: the automatic job every morning at 8:50 AM Eastern. It pulls fresh data from the EMR, re-checks every patient, and sends the daily summary.
- Hourly check: an automatic job about 5 minutes past each hour, from 6 AM to 11 PM Eastern. It re-checks every patient's reorders, follow-ups and alerts from what is already stored.
